Caiway succesfully deploys SIP Thor platform

June 1st 2010 – In the night of May 31st  to June 1st, Caiway has deployed a new VOIP platform based on SIP technology. The transition was necessary, because the current platform reached its performance limits. With the new platform unlimited growth of telephony customers is possible. The new SIP platform, named “SIP Thor ” was purchased from the same supplier as the previous platform: AG Projects.

“The new platform enables us to make our telephony services available to more and more customers”, says Aart Verbree, CEO of Caiway. “Next to that this system is equipped with more back-up features, which increases the quality of our service delivery.”

The development and construction of this new VOIP platform took about a year. “SIP Thor is designed and developed by us and we are thrilled that Caiway successfully launched the platform”, says Adrian Georgescu, CEO of AG Projects.

The migration in the night of June 1st was executed with great accuracy to reduce the risk of service interruption to our customers.
